Krazy World Zoo

Krazy World was initially established as the first American Minigolf in the Algarve, ovr 20 years ago.

We are located in the countryside amongst orange groves, and from the start we had goats and sheep roaming our fields. Families and children loved interacting with these animals, so we evolved into a fully licensed zoo.

Currently, 70% of our species are brought to us by animal rescue entities such as AAP Exotic animal Rescue Center from the Netherlands, ICNF Portuguese Institute for Nature and Conservation and RIAS Algarve Center for Recovery of wild species. Our main mission is to give a safe and caring environment for these rescued animals.

We are open all year, bur please check the calendar on our website for opening hours trough the year.

Our concept has always been to provide an immersive nature filled experience for families. We offer several daily interactions and presentations with our exotic animals, an ample petting zoo area, swimming pools with water slide, rope climb, pony and donkey rides, and of course our 18-hole minigolf.

We are very proud of our restaurant with fantastic homemade pizzas and our large sunny terrace overlooking the swimming pools.

From American alligators to Madagascar lemurs, we are the only park in our area that presents close contact with such a variety of animals, and at the same time offers many different activities in order to provide a fun-filled day surrounded by nature.

The atmosphere in the park is relaxed and easy going, our venue houses a large amount of lush green areas and trees, parents can have a break on the sun beds whilst children enjoy the pools with water slide.

All this just a stone’s throw away from the hustle and bustle of beachside resorts such as Albufeira and Vilamoura.
